Nowitzki
Dirk Nowitzki is the star all eyes look to on the Dallas Mavericks. He leads the team, for better or worse, with his inside shooting, free throws, defensive rebounds, pursuit of excellence. Dirk is a 7′ power forward / center, with the skills of a shooting guard.
Nowitzki is difficult to defend. Centers are too slow and guards are too short. The turnaround jumper is nearly impossible to stop with his incredible reach.
After two years of disappointing playoff losses, questions remain about Dirk’s mental toughness. Does he have the killer instinct? Can the Mavericks count on him in the clutch? Time will tell.
